On the long weekend my family and 2 other families went over to Cockatoo island for a picnic...

we saw some cute colourful chairs...

some funny signs...

and Nate thought that he should wear as many hats as he could so he wouldn't get burnt...

I thought that i would share some of the cute things in my life....

Here are some pics of Narrabeen beach that i took myself this morning...

YUM YUM YUM

Lately i have been cooking a lot and so i thought that i would share one of my favorite recipes with you all...BANANA CAKE...

All you need is:

2 tablespoons of butter

1 cup of sugar

1&1/2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of bicarb soda

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 egg

2 tablespoons of milk

3 mashed bananas

1) Cream together the sugar and the butter.

2)Add the beaten egg and stir until combined.

3)Add the bananas one at a time and then stir in well.

4)Add flour, bicarb soda and baking powder.

5)When it is all combined add in the milk.

6) Pour into a baking tin and cook at 180 for aroung 40 mins

(or until cook all the way through)

7)When cool you can eat it or ice it and decorate it...lemon frosting is ver nice on it!!!
